One dedicated princess service — her fully private coronation — plus two more magical ways to meet a princess: our public Princess & Me Tea Parties and the Princess Upgrade inside our social Mermaid Transformation experiences, all with Once Upon an Island’s beloved Royal-Sea Princesses.
For one hour, the doors close and the entire venue belongs to her. No other guests, no other children — just her and her favorite princess, and a fairytale with her name on it. This is not a visit. It is her coronation day: the day she becomes a princess of her own story, from the salon chair to the tea table to the moment the tiara settles into her hair.

The Princess Upgrade isn’t a separate princess service — it’s a magical way to meet a princess inside our Mermaid Transformation experiences. Book the Signature Mermaid Transformation (our most popular experience — about 1 hour, $145 per child) or the VIP Mermaid Transformation (the ultimate version — about 1 hour, $195 per child), then upgrade her Neverland Mermaid host to her favorite princess for +$95. These are social experiences, not private ones: other children may be enjoying their own transformations in the venue at the same time, and while her princess will happily say hello to excited guests, her focus and magical moments center on your child.

Whenever my neice is in town we love taking her to a "princess experience". We've done Bippity Boppity Boop at Disney. And Tea for Tots at Morning Lavender. They were all fun. But this was the best for both the parents and kids. Unlike Disney, the family members can all watch, and for an extra fee, Mommies can also participate by becoming a mermaid too. It was also more interactive than either of the other two experiences, because our niece got one on one time with her mermaid host, and got to have tea time and a Photoshoot. The adults also have a nice lounge area, where you can have lattes or some bubbly, if you choose. We appreciated that they considered the adults in the experience. Overall, we highly recommend this experience.

Wow! What a truly wonderful experience both the kids and adults had! It was by no means inexpensive, buuuut in all fairness they do all the work for you and they do it extremely well! The princesses were A+ in the look and character, professional, friendly, great energy, and hard working! We chose the Ultimate Royal Sea Party with 4 princesses and all 4 of them spent the entire time with the kids doing various activities. It was maximum princess engagement for all the kids! We also selected the full service adult lounge which was really nice. It allows you to bring outside food, but they set up, refill, and clean for you! I was so impressed that they had a cute glass display for the tiny desserts I brought too. I didn't expect for them to arrange all the drinks nicely in ice also. This is a case of you really get what you pay for. 10/10! Venue, the ladies, set up, ease was all A+!

This is one of the primary family activities I love doing with both my children. Since Ariel turned 3, she has never been more star struck by the princesses that make her over and have tea parties with her. Every event is so personalized and special, it has helped us through monumental milestones of family transition, deployment, etc. They have something nice for the parents as well so that they can also enjoy the experience like champagne, lattes, and a lovely seating area. My son Wilder also really enjoyed being a pirate and finding treasure… enjoying the fondu and fun activities the kids were there to enjoy. These experiences are so wonderful because even an hour makes such a big difference to their lives and we don't have to schlep around giant parking lots or worry about extra expenses and lines like at Disney. They just feel special and get the greatest experience for a lot less expenses and hassle. The location by the beach with the nicest folks also makes it great. Sometimes we walk around after or take the ferry and have ice cream. The park across the street is inviting as well.

I was overwhelmed at first of how this party was going to turn out for my daughter and it was absolutely worth every penny! The staffs works hard to put me at ease planning this wonderful birthday party and I have nothing to critique because they nailed it from the beginning to the end of the event. I would suggest planning this venue about 1-2 months ahead of time to give the staff and yourself time to plan it out because it will be well worth the wait to get the party how you want it to be for your darling. I wouldn't hesitate just do it! It's just so magical to see their eyes light up seeing all the princesses, heart full of joy, and memories they will cherish for a lifetime! I also recommend hiring their photographer it's well worth it not worrying about capturing it yourself and enjoying the moment. All the princesses are compassionate, loving, kind, and clever to make it so magical for the kids!… Kuddos to Emily and Nichole for being so awesome helping us plan this event and going the extra mile to make it so special for my daughter! Hands down top notch service. I would do this again for my daughter with no doubts! All her friends were raving about the event afterwards the next day wanting to return for more fun with all the characters! Exceptional service from the bottom of this mamas heart thank you so much!

Which experience is private?
The Private Princess Experience is fully private and one-on-one — just your group and your favorite princess. Princess & Me Tea Parties are public ticketed events, and the Princess Upgrade is part of our social Mermaid Experiences, where other children may be enjoying their own transformations at the same time.
Can we choose any princess?
It depends on the experience! With The Private Princess Experience and the Princess Upgrade, yes — you’ll choose her favorite princess at booking. Princess & Me Tea Parties are public events with a pre-set, rotating princess host — the visiting princess is chosen for each date, not by guests, and announced when tickets are released.
All of our Royal-Sea Princesses are inspired by classic fairytale characters in the public domain — reimagined with mermaid magic and adventurous tales you won’t find anywhere else.
Can the princess be in a ballgown?
Our princesses by default are in their royal mermaid gowns. You may upgrade to a ballgown through our partners at OC Fairytales.
Can I add more kids?
Yes — you can add up to 3 kids to your group total. Larger group? A second, “tandem” experience can accommodate a maximum of 6 children; call our front desk team to set this up.

Can parents join in?
Absolutely. Parents are welcome to enjoy the experience alongside their children, take photos, and relax in our lounge with a complimentary latte or bubbly juice. Ask about our “mommy and me” upgrades if you’d like to step into the magic yourself.
