An all-inclusive private birthday party at Once Upon an Island on Balboa Island in Newport Beach, California. Grown-up glamour, kept age-appropriate. Every guest gets a plush robe, a face mask, and a proper makeup lesson with a palette she takes home. Every guest changes into a plush spa robe on arrival, and the room settles into something calmer than a character party on purpose. This is the age where being looked after is the treat.

Face masks, and the photograph you will keep.
Glitter face masks for everyone, all at once, which is the moment every parent reaches for a camera. They will find it hilarious and so will you.
3The lesson
A real makeup lesson, and a palette to keep.
Not a free-for-all with a glitter pot. A proper age-appropriate lesson, taught properly, and every guest takes her own palette home.
4Throughout
Hosted, unhurried, entirely theirs.
Music, pampering and time to actually talk to each other. Our attendants keep it moving without ever making it feel rushed.

They host parties at our Newport Beach venue every week, their costumes and wigs are prepared by our own wardrobe and styling team, and they are trained to entertain rather than pose. Is food included?
Yes, and properly. Every party includes a catered tea party luncheon: cheese pizza, Pirate’s Booty popcorn, tropical fruit snacks and our signature pink sparkling tea, all served to the children by our staff. We love pizza because kids actually eat it. All of our food is catered, and if you would like to switch the menu, just ask. We do not include cake or dessert, but our team will cut and serve yours during the celebration.
What ages is the Sea Spa Party for?
It suits older children, roughly eight and up, who have outgrown character parties.
Are hairstyles included?
No. This package is a face mask and makeup lesson salon experience rather than a hair salon.
Do the girls keep anything?
Yes, each guest keeps a makeup palette.
